Art and Paris

Impressionists Post-Impressionists: The Ultimate Guide to Artists, Paintings and Places in Paris and Normandy. This was another book in the Art+ series that Museyon was doing that they hadn’t done in a while since they started full steam with the Chronicles series. I personally had never laid out one of these, so I was eager to tackle something new.

The direction from the owner was that I didn’t need to follow the style of the previous books because he thought the stuff we have been doing recently was easier to read and more clear. Plus, it looked rad. With that in mind, I basically did a merge of the two styles—the readability and conciseness of the Chronicles books with some of the previous art elements from the Art+ books.

Epilogue: With hundreds of paintings to catalogue and detail, this book was the most meticulous and detail-oriented book I worked on with Museyon. In the end, I am quite proud of this book and for all the stuff I learned (that I forgot about in art history class).
